Kavish completed his doctor of pharmacy at Ohio Northern University and did his post-graduate training at UW Health, where he received a master's in health-system pharmacy administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to becoming the CPO, Kavish held numerous leadership positions at the University of Utah Health, and at Oregon Health & Science University. His scope includes the development, supervision, and coordination of pharmacy services and operations at 17 retail pharmacies, seven infusion pharmacies, specialty pharmacy services, and a nationally-recognized Drug Information Service.
